The committee also agreed to support the report on gully cleansing and drainage, and requested that the discussion be shared across relevant teams and passed on to the portfolio holder.

The Lincolnshire Council Planning and Regulation Committee met to discuss several traffic regulation orders and a large solar farm proposal. The committee approved recommendations for traffic restrictions in various locations, supported a pedestrian crossing feasibility study, and objected to the Springwell Energy Farm solar panel installation.

Councillor Sean Matthews was elected as the Leader of the Council, and he outlined his priorities for the coming term, including reducing council debt and protecting Lincolnshire's countryside.
