Scrutiny Coordinating Committee - Wednesday, 4th February, 2026 7.00 pm

The Scrutiny Coordinating Committee is scheduled to review the council's Corporate Impact Framework, which measures the council's performance against its key priorities and challenges. The committee will also receive an overview of the outcomes from recent task and finish workshops that delved into areas of high demand and financial pressure within Adult Social Care, Temporary Accommodation, and SEND services. Finally, the committee will review its own work plan and progress on actions from previous meetings.

Climate Scrutiny Committee - Wednesday, 21st January, 2026 7.00 pm

The Climate Scrutiny Committee is scheduled to consider a new Green and Blue Infrastructure Vision and Strategy, alongside a report on climate engagement with schools. The committee will also review a general scrutiny report.

The Council of Waltham Forest was scheduled to meet on 11 December 2025 to discuss several topics, including the council tax support scheme, fees and charges for 2026/27, and a proposed new smoke control order. Councillors were also scheduled to discuss the Corporate Parenting Board annual report and a protocol for honorary alderpeople.
