Environment, Climate and Transport Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday, 1st July, 2025 7.30 pm

Audit and Risk Committee - Tuesday, 20th May, 2025 7.00 pm

The Audit and Risk Committee met to discuss the council's financial performance, audit plans, recycling strategies, use of investigatory powers, governance, and cybersecurity. Annual Council - Thursday, 15th May, 2025 7.15 pm

At the Annual Council meeting, Councillor Jason Jackson was elected as Mayor of Islington, becoming the first black man to hold the post. Councillor Rosalyn Ngongoro was appointed as Deputy Mayor, and councillors were assigned to various committees and outside organisations. The council also formally appointed Paul Clarke as Interim Section 151 Officer[^1].
