Lancashire Combined County Authority - Tuesday, 9th September, 2025 4.00 pm

The Lancashire Combined County Authority (LCCA) met to discuss and approve a vision and objectives document, the Lancashire Growth Plan, and a plan to get Lancashire working, while also agreeing to consult on a local transport plan. The board also discussed employment and workforce matters, budget monitoring, and engagement with the Great North Partnership[^2].

The Lancashire County Council Cabinet met to discuss the county's financial performance, approve transport and highway projects, and update flag policies. The cabinet approved a capital allocation for a new primary school in Preston, accepted transport capital grants, and approved traffic regulation orders for the Accessible Nelson project. They also approved an updated flag policy and discussed the management of residual waste in East Lancashire.

Full Council - Thursday, 17th July, 2025 1.00 pm

Lancashire County Council's Full Council met on 17 July 2025, and among other things, approved the Lancashire Child and Youth Justice Plan 2025-26, and agreed to review its policy on flying flags over council property, prioritising the Union Flag, the Flag of England, the Lancashire Flag, royal flags, and military flags and ensigns. The council also discussed the financial challenges it faces, and heard questions from councillors and members of the public.
