Licensing Sub-Committee - Tuesday 4th February, 2025 10.30 am
The Sub-Committee granted the application for a new Adult Gaming Centre Licence for Little Vegas, 4 - 6 Cricklewood Lane London NW2 1EX subject to mandatory conditions applied by the Council and the conditions agreed with the Metropolitan Police. There were representations from the Council's Public Health department, two local ward councillors, and thirty-four local residents objecting to the application. Their concerns were primarily about the location of the premises on a school route and the advertising in the windows of the premises, and the protection of children and other vulnerable people from harm.

The Licensing Sub-Committee met to consider an application for a new premises licence for New Barnet Supermarket, 20-24 Station Road, Barnet. The licence was granted, subject to conditions agreed with the Police.

The Licensing Sub-Committee met to consider an application for a variation to an Adult Gaming Centre Premises Licence under section 187 of the Gambling Act 2005 in relation to Little Vegas 214 Station Road Edgware HA8 7AR. The application was granted.
Licensing Sub-Committee - Thursday 5th December, 2024 2.30 pm
The Licensing Sub-Committee of Barnet Council met on 05 December 2024 and approved an application for a new premises licence for the sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises at 1 & 1A Sussex Ring in Woodside Park. The licence was granted to Philippe Conticini UK Limited, with the sale of alcohol permitted between 10am and 8pm, seven days a week. The sub-committee approved the application despite receiving representations from local people, on the grounds that the concerns of residents were not supported by evidence from the police or any other responsible authorities.
Safer Communities Partnership Board - Friday 29th November, 2024 10.00 am
The Safer Communities Partnership Board noted a number of reports on crime, community safety, vulnerable adults and children, and modern slavery. They also received a verbal update from the police and considered their plans for promoting community cohesion in the borough.
