Health and Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Monday 30th June 2025 10:00am

The Health and Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee met to discuss the potential closure of intrapartum services at two community hospitals, and to review the System Operational Plan for 2025-26. The committee approved a memorandum of understanding regarding substantial variations to health services, and agreed to a work programme for future meetings.

County Council - Thursday 22nd May 2025 10:00am

The Staffordshire County Council meeting on 22 May 2025 saw Councillor Paul Williams appointed as Chairman of the County Council, and Councillor Gordon Munro appointed as Vice-Chairman. Councillors also debated a motion on improving roads, and addressed questions on topics ranging from net zero initiatives to immigration. The council also approved a number of measures including the Staffordshire Household Support Fund, the Staffordshire Warmer Homes scheme, and the Community Learning Accountability Agreement.

Audit and Standards Committee - Tuesday 22nd April 2025 10:00am

The Audit and Standards Committee met to discuss the external audit plan, the code of conduct for members, the internal audit strategy, information governance, and civil contingencies. The committee approved the recommendation to note the information contained in the Code of Conduct for Members - Report on the Management of Complaints June 2024 - March 2025, and also approved the Proposed Internal Audit Strategy & Plan 2025/26, the Annual Information Governance Report April 2024 - March 2025, and the Annual Civil Contingencies Report April 2024 - March 2025.
