Barnet Council's Strategic Planning Committee voted to approve planning applications for 129 Millway and Volvo Cars The Hyde. It also discussed the application for Intec House, but could not vote on it as the application is currently being appealed.

The Safer Communities Partnership Board meeting on 12 July 2024 reviewed the performance of the Safer Communities Partnership, including recent crime statistics and the work of the Antisocial Behaviour Team. The Board noted the progress made and received an update on the ongoing implementation of the Community Safety Plan.

Barnet Council met to discuss a range of issues including highways licensing fees, the capital strategy for 2024-2025, and the work programme for the Overview and Scrutiny committee. The council voted to increase a range of highways licensing fees, to note the updated capital strategy, and to note the Overview and Scrutiny annual report and work programme.
