Lancashire Road Safety Partnership Inquiry Findings Report

...to note the findings of the Lancashire Road Safety Partnership Inquiry Panel's initial meeting, agreed that an Inquiry Day was not required, and supported the Panel's recommendations, including reviewing the terms of reference for road safety groups and liaising with the Police and Crime Commissioner to improve speed enforcement.

Flooding Emergency Response and Communication

...to improve flood emergency response and communication, the committee resolved to request the Cabinet Member for Environment and Climate Change to consider increasing marketing of the Flood Hub and reviewing its emergency advice, and to share information on trash screen/gully clearing schedules and alternatives to sandbags with County Councillors and the Scrutiny Committee, respectively.
