Wirral Council has received confirmation that the provisional Drug and Alcohol Treatment, Recovery and Improvement Grant (DATRIG) funding has now been formally approved by the DHSC, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and His Majesty’s Treasury. This report updates the Adult Social Care and Public Health Committee on the final grant allocations and seeks authority for further contractual arrangements from 1st July 2025.
