The Hounslow Borough Council met on 16 September 2025, and among other things, noted the State of the Borough 2025 report, approved the Hounslow Youth Justice Service Plan 2024-2027 (updated 2025), and agreed to participate in a flexible voting pilot for the May 2026 local elections, subject to government approval. The council also discussed tributes to the late Councillor Sukhbir Singh Dhaliwal, petitions, licensing policies, scrutiny reports, the appointment of a Chief Executive, appointments to committees, and motions on waste, child poverty, and culture.

The Brentford and Syon Area Forum met to discuss planning and regeneration, transport and infrastructure, and economic development in the area. Updates were provided on local developments, transport connectivity improvements, and economic inclusion strategies. The forum also addressed concerns raised by residents during the open forum session.

The Hounslow Council's Health and Adults Care Scrutiny Panel met on Tuesday, 9 September 2025, to discuss several topics, including patient involvement, pressures in adult social care, and the terms of reference for a deep dive into adult social care services. The panel was also scheduled to hear from patient and resident representatives.

Planning Committee Vice-Chair

Planning Committee - Thursday, 4 September 2025 7:00 pm

The Hounslow Planning Committee met to discuss several planning applications, including a large mixed-use development at the Sega Site on the Great West Road, and the redevelopment of Griffin Park, the former Brentford Football Club stadium. The committee approved the Sega Site development, after adding a condition to reduce parking provision, and also approved the Griffin Park redevelopment.

Licensing Panel Member

Licensing Panel - Monday, 1 September 2025 7:30 pm

The Hounslow Council Licensing Panel met to consider an application for a premises licence for Domino's Pizza on Chiswick High Road. The panel refused the application following concerns about public nuisance and the applicant's failure to address these concerns. Councillor Dan Bowring was appointed Chair of the meeting.
