Licensing Sub-Committee - Monday, 27th October, 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee of Hillingdon Council met to consider an application for a new bingo premises licence. The application was for 'Merkur Slots', part of the ground floor of 62 Station Road, Hayes, UB3 4DF. Standards Committee - Monday, 13th October, 2025 6.30 pm

The Standards Committee met to discuss the appointment of an Independent Person and to consider two complaints against elected members, ultimately deciding to take no further action on either complaint. The committee recommended that the council approve the appointment of Mr. Roger Cook as the council's second Independent Person until July 2030. They also instructed the Monitoring Officer to arrange refresher briefings on the Code of Conduct for the members involved in the complaints, and to write to the Chief Whips of each group to remind their members to conduct debates politely and efficiently.

Licensing Committee - Wednesday, 8th October, 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Committee convened to discuss animal welfare, revisions to the Statement of Licensing Policy, and legislative updates, and to ratify previous sub-committee decisions. The committee reviewed proposed administrative revisions to the Statement of Licensing Policy, including updates on counter-terrorism measures and safeguarding initiatives, and provided feedback. Members also received an update on changes to national licensing guidance, including provisions for off-sales and spiking prevention, and discussed gambling regulations and local authority control over gambling premises.

Hillingdon Planning Committee - Thursday, 2nd October, 2025 7.00 pm

The Hillingdon Planning Committee approved recommendations for all planning applications considered at its meeting. These included a four-phased redevelopment to deliver a data centre campus on Uxbridge Road and the erection of a single-storey detached building for use by the Acorn Youth Club in Ruislip.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Tuesday, 30th September, 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee convened to discuss an application for a new premises licence for Pepe's Piri Piri, located at 23 Station Road, West Drayton, UB77BT. The committee decided to grant the application, permitting late-night refreshment services from 23:00 to 02:00, Monday to Sunday. This decision incorporated the conditions proposed by the applicant in their operating schedule.
