Extraordinary Meeting, Council - Thursday, 23rd October, 2025 4.00 pm

The Council of Doncaster Council scheduled an extraordinary meeting to be held on 23 October 2025. This followed a requisition to convene an extraordinary meeting made by five Reform UK members of the council.

The Licensing Sub-Committee of Doncaster Council scheduled a meeting for Wednesday 22 October 2025, to discuss several licensing matters. The agenda included applications for new licenses, as well as reviews of existing licenses for Hackney Carriage and Private Hire drivers and vehicles. Some of the items were expected to be discussed in private session due to the confidential nature of the information.

South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday 21 October 2025 2.00 pm

The South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee met to discuss reports on public involvement in proposed changes to gluten-free prescriptions and IVF cycles, consider revisions to their terms of reference, and review their work programme. The committee heard that the South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) is considering changes to both policies in light of financial pressures.

The Health and Adults Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Panel were scheduled to meet to discuss the progress of social care in Doncaster, the Doncaster Carers Journey, and the Overview and Scrutiny Work Plan.

Licensing Committee - Friday, 26th September, 2025 10.00 am

The Licensing Committee of Doncaster Council was scheduled to meet on Friday, 26th September 2025, to discuss a new Statement of Licensing Policy. The main item for discussion was the Statement of Licensing Policy 2026, which the committee was asked to consider and recommend for adoption by the full council. The meeting was also scheduled to confirm the minutes of a prior meeting.
