Licensing Sub-Committee - Tuesday 28 January 2025 2.00 pm

The Licensing Sub-Committee met to consider three applications: a variation application by Marks & Spencer, a new application by Hybrid Bar and Restaurant, and a new application by Commune Studios. The meeting began with tributes to past Councillors Rob Hill and Burt Williams, who had recently died. Councillors then heard deputations from residents on the condition of Palace Road Nature Garden, the need for cycle hangers suitable for cargo bikes, and poor housing conditions and repairs on the Tulse Hill Estate.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Thursday 12 December 2024 1.00 pm

The Licensing Sub-Committee met to consider two applications. The first was for a new premises license for an off-license at 47 Waterloo Station, submitted by Gardshol Enterprises Limited. The committee determined that the application should be granted with additional conditions, including that all alcohol be kept in secure storage and only sold alongside food between 7am and 11am. The second application was a review of an existing premises license for Mosquito Bar at 5 Clapham High Street. After extensive discussion, the committee deferred its decision for five working days.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Monday 25 November 2024 7.00 pm

The Licensing Sub-Committee refused the application from Palm Lounge at 60 Brixton Road, London SW9 6BS to vary its Premises Licence to extend its opening hours until 03:00 on Friday to Sunday and to add recorded music to its licence. The Licensing Sub-Committee deferred its decision on the application from Reels Casino Slots Limited for a new Bingo premises at Ground Floor, 192 Norwood Road London SE27 9AU.

Licensing Sub-Committee - Thursday 7 November 2024 7.00 pm

The Licensing Sub-Committee met to consider two applications for new premises licenses: one for La Surena, a restaurant at 30-30A Brixton Station Road, and another for a late bar at the Basement Hyatt Regency, 10 Albert Embankment. Both applications were granted after the applicants agreed to amend their proposed hours.
