The Council’s constitution requires the approval of the Corporate Support Committee to write off certain irrecoverable Council Tax, Business Rates and Sundry Debts. This applies to amounts over £10,000 (Sundry Debts), £15,000 (Council Tax) and £30,000 (Business Rates).
