The Port Authority have a statutory duty to maintain Navigation Aids. This work requires a workboat which the Port Authority currently lease. The owner of the boat wishes to sell the boat for market value and has given the Council first refusal on its purchase. This report provides consideration and appraisal of the potential purchase of the current workboat.
