Councillors voted against a proposal to send the flag policy back to the cabinet for further discussion, and also voted against a proposal to publish the reasons behind decisions on whether or not to allow a flag to be flown. The committee agreed to hold a future meeting to examine the Wheat Street/Leicester Road CPO in greater detail.

Audit and Standards Committee - Thursday 11 September 2025 12.30 pm

The Audit and Standards Committee met on Thursday 11 September 2025, receiving an internal audit update report, discussing the committee's future work programme, and noting the upcoming retirement of Robert Zara, Independent Member. The committee also agreed to exclude the public from the meeting to discuss confidential information.

Regulatory Committee - Tuesday 2 September 2025 10.30 am

The Warwickshire Council Regulatory Committee met on 2 September 2025 to discuss appointments to external bodies. The committee approved the nomination of Councillor Dale Keeling to the West Midlands Combined Authority Audit Risk and Assurance Committee. An amendment to instead vote on the nomination of Councillor Michael Bannister to the Nuneaton BID[^2] was not approved, meaning that Councillor Keith Kondakor remains the appointment to the Nuneaton BID.

Regulatory Committee - Tuesday 5 August 2025 10.30 am

The Warwickshire County Council Regulatory Committee met to discuss the extension of an in-vessel composting facility, as well as the restoration of a landfill site, both located at Ufton Landfill Site. Councillors voted to extend the life of the composting facility until 2038 and approved a variation to conditions relating to the landfill site, extending the deadline for restoration. The committee also approved appointments to external bodies.
