Audit and Governance Committee - Thursday, 10th July, 2025 7.00 pm

The Audit and Governance Committee for Sutton Council met on 10 July 2025 to review the council's governance, risk management, and audit processes. The committee was scheduled to discuss the annual reports on governance, risk management, human resources, and treasury management, as well as the operation of the code of conduct and member development. They were also scheduled to review the external audit plan and internal audit activity.

Bandon Hill Cemetery Joint Committee - Monday, 16th June, 2025 4.00 pm

The Bandon Hill Cemetery Joint Committee met to elect a chair and vice-chair for the upcoming year, review the cemetery's financial performance, and approve funding for fence repairs. Councillor Edward Joyce was elected as Chair, and Councillor Sam Martin was elected as Vice Chair. The committee also noted a trading outturn surplus of £47,086 for the 2024/25 financial year and approved £18,800 for replacing damaged fencing.

Scrutiny Committee - Wednesday, 11th June, 2025 7.30 pm

The Sutton Council Scrutiny Committee met on 11 June 2025, to discuss an update from Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust, corporate parenting for children looked after and care leavers, and the Scrutiny Committee's annual report for 2024/25. The committee noted the reports on all three topics.

Beddington and Wallington Local Committee - Tuesday, 10th June, 2025 7.00 pm

The Beddington and Wallington Local Committee met on 10 June 2025, and heard a community showcase from the Paul Allen project, received a budget update, and an update on housing service activity and investment from the Sutton Housing Partnership. The committee also approved Jackie Godfrey as a Community Representative on behalf of the Friends of Beddington Park, replacing Muriel McIntosh.
