D2 Strategic Leadership Board - Tuesday, 3 June 2025 10.00 am
The D2 Strategic Leadership Board met to discuss the East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA), the Derbyshire Business Start-Up support scheme, and revisions to its own terms of reference. The board was also scheduled to discuss the EMCCA Community Development Fund and the EMCCA funded Inward Investment service.

At the annual general meeting of Derbyshire County Council, Councillor Nick Adams was elected as Chairman and Civic Chairman of the council for 2025-26, and Councillor Jodie Brown was elected as Vice Civic Chairman. Councillor Alan Graves was appointed Leader of the Council for the next four years. Councillors also approved committee memberships, the schedule of meetings, and appointments to outside bodies for the upcoming year.

At a meeting of the Derbyshire County Council Cabinet, members approved a new Corporate Complaints Policy, continued a joint funding agreement to support children with complex needs, approved annual reports for the Chesterfield Schools Foundation, and allocated funding for special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) projects.
