Review of a Premises Licence - BlackStar Grill & Bar, 54 St James Street, Walthamstow E17 7PE, Licensing Act 2003 Sub-Committee - Tuesday, 16th December, 2025 11.00 am

The Licensing Act 2003 Sub-Committee is scheduled to convene to review the premises licence for BlackStar Bar & Grill, following an application for review. The Licensing Act 2003 Sub-Committee is scheduled to convene to consider an application for a new premises licence. The Scrutiny Coordinating Committee was scheduled to meet to review corporate impact, discuss the delivery of Mission Waltham Forest, and receive an update on the Corporate Peer Challenge. Councillors were also expected to review and comment on the action tracker from the previous meeting.

Council - Thursday, 16th October, 2025 7.30 pm

The Waltham Forest Council met to discuss a range of topics, including amendments to the council's constitution, treasury management, and a motion regarding support for local businesses. Councillors agreed to amend the Council Procedure Rules and the Councillor's Code of Conduct, and noted reports on treasury management activities, scrutiny, and the use of emergency provisions. The council also rejected a Conservative Group motion calling for support for local businesses.
