Health and Wellbeing Board - Thursday 14 November 2024 10.00 am
This meeting was scheduled to hear a report on inequalities in maternity care, and the associated recommendations for improvement, in addition to updates on the Southwark Joint Health & Wellbeing Strategy 2022-2027, an annual update on health protection and an update on the Partnership Southwark Health and Care Plan. There were also scheduled briefings on the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment, air quality, and healthy weight.
Cabinet - Tuesday 15 October 2024 11.00 am
The meeting approved Southwark Council's Capital Monitoring report for 2024-25. The Council also approved the draft Old Kent Road Area Action plan for submission to the Secretary of State. It also agreed to make a compulsory purchase order on properties on the Aylesbury Estate for phase 2B of its regeneration, and approved the use of the dynamic purchasing system, Plentific.
Southwark Maternity Commission - Monday 30 September 2024 1.00 pm
The sixth meeting of the Southwark Maternity Commission was scheduled to begin with a presentation of findings from the Commission's engagement work with residents. Following this, two guest speakers were scheduled to address the meeting, before a panel discussion involving representatives of local healthcare providers and the council.

The Cabinet also discussed progress on the Climate Change Strategy and the Biodiversity Duty, reviewed and approved the Local Flood Risk Management Strategy, agreed minor changes to the Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy allocation process, noted the Revenue Monitoring report and approved the use of compulsory purchase powers to acquire the remaining properties in phase 2 of the Tustin Estate redevelopment.
