Licensing Sub Committee A - Thursday, 26th June, 2025 6.30 pm

The Licensing Sub Committee A was scheduled to meet to consider new premises licence applications for three businesses, and a premises licence variation application for one business. Councillor Heather Staff, Chair of Licensing Committee and Migrants Champion, Councillor Gary Heather, and Councillor Rosaline Ogunro, Deputy Mayor, were scheduled to be in attendance. The Islington Council Licensing Committee met on 10 June 2025 to discuss changes to the membership of the Licensing Sub-Committees. Councillor Heather Staff, Chair of Licensing Committee and Migrants Champion, was scheduled to chair the meeting.

Licensing Regulatory Committee - Monday, 9th June, 2025 6.30 pm

The Licensing Regulatory Committee was scheduled to meet to discuss street trading fees and charges, as well as the committee's membership and terms of reference. The committee was also scheduled to note the minutes of the previous meeting.

Licensing Committee - Tuesday, 20th May, 2025 6.20 pm

The Licensing Committee of Islington Council met on 20 May 2025 to discuss the appointment of licensing sub-committees for the upcoming year and to review the minutes of their previous meeting. The committee was also scheduled to consider if any items should be treated as urgent or exempt from press and public access.

Annual Council - Thursday, 15th May, 2025 7.15 pm

At the Annual Council meeting, Councillor Jason Jackson was elected as Mayor of Islington, becoming the first black man to hold the post. Councillor Rosalyn Ngongoro was appointed as Deputy Mayor, and councillors were assigned to various committees and outside organisations. The council also formally appointed Paul Clarke as Interim Section 151 Officer[^1].
