The Children and Young People Scrutiny Commission of Hackney Council was scheduled to discuss several key issues, including the outcome of an Ofsted Area SEND inspection and the provision of housing support for families with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The meeting agenda also included updates from Cabinet members on various policy areas and a review of the commission's recommendations on behaviour management and school inclusion.

Audit Committee - Tuesday, 24 February 2026 - 6.30 pm

The Audit Committee of Hackney Council met on Tuesday 24 February 2026 to review the External Audit Completion Report for 2024/25 and to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. The committee approved the recommendations within the External Audit Completion Report, which included authorising the Group Director of Finance and Corporate Resources to approve the final Statement of Accounts for 2024/25, pending the completion of outstanding work by the external auditor.

Children and Young People Scrutiny Commission - Tuesday 10 February 2026 7.00 pm

The Children and Young People Scrutiny Commission of Hackney Council was scheduled to review housing support for families of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and receive an update on housing support for care leavers. The commission was also due to receive a verbal update on behaviour management and school inclusion, and to note the work programme for the remainder of the municipal year.
