The Health and Well-being Board were scheduled to meet to discuss community mental health transformation work, receive an update on the Public Mental Health Strategy, and discuss the forward plan for future meetings. The board was also scheduled to receive an update from Citizens Advice.
Health and Wellbeing OSC - Tuesday, 11th November, 2025 1.00 pm
The Health and Wellbeing Overview and Scrutiny Committee (OSC) was scheduled to meet to discuss patient services at Berwick Community Hospital, and to review the committee's work programme. The meeting was also scheduled to include a review of the minutes from recent Health & Wellbeing Board meetings, and the latest forward plan of key decisions made by the cabinet. Councillor T. Austin was scheduled to replace Councillor S. Simm on the Health and Wellbeing OSC for the coming year.
Cabinet - Tuesday, 11th November, 2025 9.30 am
In a meeting of the Northumberland County Council cabinet, councillors approved a new kerbside recycling collection model, several amendments to the capital programme, and a sales strategy for renewable electricity. The cabinet also decided to progress with plans for depot expansion at the Tyne Mills Depot in Hexham, and to continue discussions with the artist Sir Antony Gormley about a potential art store and gallery in Hexham.
County Council - Wednesday, 5th November, 2025 2.00 pm
The agenda for Northumberland County Council's meeting on 5 November 2025 included discussion of the Berwick Maltings Theatre project, annual reports from several cabinet members, an annual report from the Audit Committee, an interim report from the Family and Children's Services Overview and Scrutiny Committee, and a review of polling districts and polling places. Energising Blyth: Plan for Neighbourhoods

...to support the Energising Blyth Programme, the Cabinet agreed to participate in the UK Government's Plan for Neighbourhoods initiative, endorsing the Blyth 10 Year Regeneration Plan and 4 Year Investment Plan, accepting £19.537m in funding, adding £14.936m to the Capital Programme and £4.599m to the revenue budget, and agreeing to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.

Northumberland Line Update
