The Corporate and Communities Overview and Scrutiny Panel met to discuss the annual update on libraries, the performance and budget monitoring for Quarter 2 of 2025/26, and the panel's work programme. The panel reviewed library performance, including the Libraries Unlocked program, and noted the financial position of the council, including forecasts for reserves and high needs funding. The panel also agreed to retain the flexibility to take into account any urgent issues which may arise in their work programme.

The Overview and Scrutiny Performance Board met on 17 November 2025 to discuss local government reorganisation in Worcestershire, as well as to review scrutiny chairs' updates, the work programme, and the cabinet forward plan. The meeting was held at Wychavon District Council Offices, in Pershore. Councillors were expected to consider and comment on these topics.
Overview and Scrutiny Performance Board - Thursday, 16th October, 2025 10.00 am
The Overview and Scrutiny Performance Board met to discuss the One Worcestershire local government reorganisation proposal, its financial implications, and the scrutiny work programme for the coming year. Councillors expressed concerns about the lack of a complete business case, the potential for council tax increases, and the need for public consultation. The Board agreed to explore options for an additional meeting to scrutinise the One Worcestershire proposal before it goes to the full council.
Adult Care and Well Being Overview and Scrutiny Panel - Wednesday, 16th July, 2025 10.00 am
The Adult Care and Well Being Overview and Scrutiny Panel met to discuss the future location of residential replacement care for adults with learning disabilities, and to review performance and budget monitoring for 2024/25. The panel agreed to further scrutinise the costings of the residential replacement care provision, and made suggestions for topics to be covered in future meetings, including continuing healthcare, mental health services, and hospital discharge pathways.
