Community Growing Small Grant KPDPJWKL

From: Civic Affairs Committee - Tuesday, 22 July 2025 10.00 a.m. - July 22, 2025

The purpose of this decision is to award funding to Cambridge City Football Club in Sawston to establish a community garden at the Cambridge City Football Club Community Stadium. A previously unused plot of land has been allocated for the project, which will involve the purchase of bulbs, plants, herbs, raised beds, gardening tools, and equipment. The garden will be maintained by a dedicated team of volunteers, with produce shared among those helping to maintain the space and with visitors to the stadium. Any surplus will be distributed to local community kitchens.   Application Ref. KPDPJWKL Grant award £500.
