The Governance and Assurance Committee for Redbridge Council was scheduled to meet on 4 November 2025. The Shareholder Reference Group met to discuss the performance and future plans of Redbridge Civic Services (RCS) Ltd, a company wholly owned by Redbridge Council. Councillors agreed to endorse the appointment of an additional non-executive director to the RCS Ltd board, and reviewed the company's draft business plan, recommending it to the cabinet for approval. The group also reviewed and noted the RCS quarterly performance report for Quarter 1 of 2025/2026.

The Redbridge Schools Forum met to discuss school funding, budget allocations, and financial monitoring, as well as updates to the school organisation plan. The forum was also scheduled to discuss the Dedicated Schools Grant outturn for 2024-25, and the grant allocations for 2025-26. Additionally, the forum was set to review the activities of the High Needs Funding sub-group and the 2025/26 High Needs Block position.

The Governance and Assurance Committee for Redbridge Council met on Monday 7 July 2025 to discuss several key reports and strategies. The agenda included the election of a chair and vice-chair, the annual report of the Monitoring Officer, and the review of the draft Annual Governance Statement. Also scheduled for discussion were the Internal Audit Charter, Mandate, Strategy, and proposed plan, as well as an update on Internal Audit and Counter Fraud activities.

The Redbridge Council Licensing Committee convened on 18 June 2025, to discuss the establishment of a Licensing Sub-Committee and the Redbridge Statement of Licensing Policy. The committee agreed to establish the Licensing Sub-Committee and also agreed to recommend that the Full Council adopt the Licensing Policy at its meeting on 18 September 2025.
