Summary Expedited Review, Licensing Sub-Committee - Thursday 10 April 2025 5.00 pm
The Licensing Sub-Committee of Lambeth Council met on 10 April 2025 to consider an application for a summary review of a premises licence. The meeting was convened to determine whether any interim steps were necessary, pending a full review. Planning Applications Committee - Tuesday 18 March 2025 7.00 pm
The committee voted to approve all four planning applications that were presented to them. This included approval for the change of use of a derelict stable block in Ruskin Park to a cafe, the redevelopment of Walker House in Vauxhall, permission to run the annual Between the Bridges event at Hungerford Coach Park on the South Bank, and the extension of a Holiday Inn Express on South Lambeth Road.
Budget Council, Council - Wednesday 5 March 2025 7.00 pm
The meeting approved the Revenue and Capital Budget 2025/26, the External Auditor Recommendations and the Pay Policy Statement 2025/26. Both the Green and Liberal Democrat groups presented alternative budgets that were not carried.
Adult Social Care and Health Scrutiny Sub-Committee - Thursday 27 February 2025 7.00 pm
The meeting began with a presentation about efforts to improve the experience of LGBTQ+ people receiving adult social care in Lambeth. The committee then went on to review the Annual Safeguarding Report for 2023-24, and the Annual Performance and Complaints Report for the Adult Social Care department. The meeting concluded with a discussion of the committee's future work programme.

The meeting began with tributes to past Councillors Rob Hill and Burt Williams, who had recently died. Councillors then heard deputations from residents on the condition of Palace Road Nature Garden, the need for cycle hangers suitable for cargo bikes, and poor housing conditions and repairs on the Tulse Hill Estate.
