...to enable an enhanced approach for utilizing community assets, the Executive agreed to establish a Community Asset Transfer Policy, authorize the acquisition of residential properties for affordable housing, mobilize a development pipeline, and finalize a Community Asset Support Scheme, recommending that Council approve the associated funding and capital program updates.

Affordable Housing Delivery Funding

...to support the delivery of affordable rented housing in the borough, the Executive authorized the allocation of £1 million from Affordable Housing Section 106 contributions from Capital Reserves and delegated authority to the Head of Housing and Intervention to approve expenditure of this budget in consultation with relevant parties.
