The panel endorsed the latest version of its work programme, with the addition of topics including the impact of street drug dealing and police governance reform proposals. The panel also requested reports on the outcomes of a conference on violence against women and girls, further information on victims of violent crime, and updates on performance against the Public Safety Plan.

The Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Panel met to discuss the response of Danielle Stone, the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (PFCC) to a recent Court of Appeal judgement regarding the Chief Constable of Northamptonshire Police. The panel scrutinised the PFCC's discharge of her statutory functions in response to the judgement. A recommendation was made and approved that the panel should have the opportunity to see and comment on the scope and terms of reference for the PFCC's independent review before they are finalised.

The Northamptonshire Police, Fire and Crime Panel met to discuss a range of issues, including the Joint Independent Audit Committee Annual Report, an overview of performance in key areas of service delivery, and the Panel's work programme for the coming year. The Panel approved the proposed work programme for 2025/26, with the addition of the topic of dealing with serious anti-social behaviour in Northamptonshire, and requested a report from the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner on performance against the missions and tests in the Commissioner’s Public Safety Plan. The Panel also noted an update on complaints and conduct matters.
