The Cabinet approved a phased approach to bring housing services management back into the council, an increase to the Market Square capital budget, and the adoption of a policy statement for supporting children unable to attend school.

As part of the work programme review, the committee was also scheduled to discuss a proposal for a scrutiny review of addressing disrepair in social housing in West Northamptonshire.

At a meeting of the West Northamptonshire Council Cabinet, members approved a new Family Help Strategy, endorsed an updated approach to locality-based prevention, and approved several service plans related to health protection and enforcement. The Cabinet also agreed to exclude the press and public to discuss the restoration of property for service use.
