Health and Wellbeing Board - Thursday 11 December 2025 10.00 am

The Southwark Health and Wellbeing Board is scheduled to meet on Thursday 11 December 2025 to discuss several key issues, including updates on the Healthy Work and Lives programme, the Financial Shield project, the SC1 London Life Sciences Innovation District, and the annual Health Protection Report. The Southwark Council cabinet met to discuss a range of issues, including housing, education, and community safety. They approved recommendations regarding school standards, and phase 2 of the Tustin Estate renewal, while also discussing the demolition of Marie Curie House, strategic community infrastructure funding, and the purchase of Rockingham Street Arches.

Ordinary meeting, Council Assembly - Wednesday 12 November 2025 7.00 pm

Southwark Council Assembly met to discuss resident's rights, ethical investments, and local funding, among other items. The council approved changes to its committee structure and investment strategy, and reappointed an independent advisor. Motions were passed regarding fairer funding, ethical investments, improvements to Peckham Rye Station, and Thames Water.

Corporate Parenting Committee - Wednesday 22 October 2025 2.00 pm

The Corporate Parenting Committee was scheduled to meet to discuss several reports and strategies relating to children in care, including the annual virtual head teacher's report, the fostering annual report, and an update on the corporate parenting strategy. They were also scheduled to discuss a report on substance misuse among children in care, and an update on the employability pathway for care leavers.

Cabinet - Tuesday 14 October 2025 2.00 pm

The Southwark Council cabinet met on 14 October 2025, and agreed to dispose of land for a new care home, adopt a climate and environment supplementary planning document, consult on changes to the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) for student housing, authorise the letting of underground garage space, and award a contract for integrated sexual and reproductive health services.
