Electoral Review Committee - Tuesday 15 July 2025 10.30 am

The Electoral Review Committee was scheduled to meet to discuss electoral division variance, community governance reviews and parish vacancies. The committee was also scheduled to elect a chairman and vice-chairman for the year 2025/26.

Wiltshire Police and Crime Panel - Thursday 26 June 2025 10.30 am

The Wiltshire Police and Crime Panel met to discuss a range of issues, including the appointment of a new Chief Financial Officer, an update from Police and Crime Commissioner Philip Wilkinson, OBE, MPhil, and a report on the Police and Crime Plan. The panel was also scheduled to receive a presentation on road safety.

Health and Wellbeing Board - Thursday 12 June 2025 10.00 am

The Wiltshire Council Health and Wellbeing Board meeting on 12 June 2025, was scheduled to cover a range of topics, including a draft pharmaceutical needs assessment, the Smokefree Generation Programme, the Get Britain Working white paper, and the Better Care Fund. The meeting also included verbal updates on changes in the NHS and the Better Care Plan.

Melksham Area Board - Wednesday 4 June 2025 7.00 pm

The Melksham Area Board met to discuss community engagement, funding for local projects, and various updates from partners and council services. The board was also scheduled to discuss appointments to outside bodies and working groups. Councillors were expected to discuss and agree on their priorities for the coming year.

Council - Tuesday 20 May 2025 10.30 am

The annual meeting of Wiltshire Council saw Councillor Laura Mayes elected as the new chairman, and Councillor Ruth Hopkinson elected as vice-chairman. Councillor Ian Thorne was appointed leader of the council for 2025-2029, and he announced his cabinet. Councillors also voted to delegate decisions on committee appointments to a later meeting, and to authorise work to establish a new financial scrutiny committee.
