The County Council of Hertfordshire held an extraordinary meeting on Tuesday, 25 June 2024. The council appointed Angie Ridgwell as the new Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service, effective from September 2024. The council also paid tribute to former County Councillor and Leader of the Council, David Beatty, who passed away recently.
