LGA Governance Review

...to address recommendations from a Local Government Association governance review, the committee approved changes to be implemented by September 2025, including renaming the Policy Development Committee to the Scrutiny and Policy Development Committee, establishing working groups, and holding quarterly meetings between committee chairs, and changes to be implemented from April 2026, including preventing members from sitting on multiple committees and reviewing the committee timetable.
