...to facilitate the redevelopment of the Maritime Gateway site, the Cabinet delegated authority to relevant Executive Directors to terminate or transfer the existing lease, grant a new 250-year lease to a newly formed Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), secure the Council's membership and participation in the LLP, and authorize the Council's financial contribution to the LLP as an interest-free loan, all aimed at delivering an innovation-led scheme focused on health, science, and engineering.

...to approve an updated medium-term financial forecast, develop proposals to address a pessimistic financial scenario, agree to initial savings proposals, and conduct a budget engagement exercise.

...to appoint Councillor Alex Winning as the council's representative and Councillor Christie Lambert as the standing Deputy on the Shadow Board and, once legally established, on the Hampshire & The Solent Combined County Authority, subject to parliamentary approval of secondary legislation.

...to ensure continuity of care, they authorized the award of contracts for children's residential respite and residential respite for adults with learning disabilities (including complex needs) to the highest scoring bidder identified in the exempt appendix, following a procurement under the Procurement Act 2023.
