Council Assembly - Wednesday 17 July 2024 7.00 pm

The Council Assembly meeting on 17 July 2024 saw Councillors debate and agree motions on the state of social housing in Southwark, the abuse of Councillors, and traffic on Lower Road in Rotherhithe. The Council also agreed amendments to its constitution related to Human Resources and approved its pay policy for 2024-25.

Corporate Parenting Committee - Wednesday 17 July 2024 2.00 pm

The meeting was scheduled to receive annual reports on the Southwark Council Fostering Service and the health of Children Looked After (CLA) in Southwark. In addition, the committee was scheduled to elect a vice-chair for 2024-25 and agree on their work plan for the year ahead.

Reconvened from 30 May 2024, Licensing Sub-Committee - Thursday 20 June 2024 10.00 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee of Southwark Council met on Thursday 20 June 2024 to discuss the application for a new premises licence for Rincon Costeno, located at Arch 146 Maldonado Walk, Eagle Yard, Hampton Street, London. The committee decided to grant the licence with specific conditions to address concerns raised by local residents and responsible authorities.
