The Council of Lewisham Council met on Wednesday, 7 May 2025, for its annual general meeting, and to discuss a review of the council's constitution. The agenda included the election of the speaker and deputy speaker, and the allocation of seats and appointments to committees.

Appointments Committee - Thursday, 24th April, 2025 9.30 am

The Appointments Committee of Lewisham Council met on Thursday 24 April 2025 to discuss the election of a chair and vice chair, and the appointment of a Director of Family Help and Care. The committee was also scheduled to review the minutes of a prior meeting and handle declarations of interest.

Safer Stronger Communities Select Committee - Thursday, 6th March, 2025 7.00 pm

This meeting was scheduled to include a presentation from the Police about the progress they are making on the council's priorities in the Safer Lewisham Plan, and a discussion about the progress made implementing Lewisham's borough-wide Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO). The Committee was also scheduled to review its work programme.

BUDGET, Council - Wednesday, 5th March, 2025 7.30 pm

This meeting was about setting Lewisham Council's budget for 2025/26. It included discussion of the council's overall financial position, a proposed increase to council tax, and the setting of housing rents.
