While the sub-committee noted the Leader's original decision, strong concerns were voiced about the scheme's impact on boundary roads. The sub-committee recommended continued monitoring and public data sharing, further development of mitigation measures with stakeholder engagement, and consideration of broader safety issues.

The council meeting held on 29 October 2025 included discussion of petitions, changes to executive function schemes of delegation, and several motions concerning local issues. Councillors were also scheduled to answer questions from the public and from other members.

Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Thursday, 16th October, 2025 6.30 pm

The Overview and Scrutiny Committee met to discuss policing in the borough, and the strategic planning and management of Greenwich's parks. The committee noted the upcoming executive decisions set out in the Forward Plan, and agreed to pick up with Councillor Rachel Taggart-Ryan, Cabinet Member Community Safety and Enforcement, the need for more publicity about policing in the Greenwich comms and social media channels.
