They also approved an increase to council housing rents of 2.7%, agreed a plan for delivering the Climate Emergency Action Plan, and approved a grant allocation of £325,000 to Citizens Advice Hounslow.

Bedfont and Feltham Area Forum - Thursday, 28 November 2024 7:30 pm

The Bedfont and Feltham Area Forum meeting on 28 November 2024 was scheduled to include an informal market place from 6:30pm to 7:30pm for residents to find out about local Council services and community groups. The formal part of the meeting was scheduled to start at 7:30pm, when the Councillors were scheduled to receive an update on winter fuel support that is available. This was to be followed by an open forum for members of the public to raise issues of local concern, and a Community Spotlight feature.

The meeting included four petitions on a variety of matters, discussion of the ‘state of the borough’ report, the appointment of a new Monitoring Officer and four proposed motions for debate by members. In addition the council considered reports on treasury management, the adoption of a new gambling policy, and constitutional matters. Lastly, five written questions to cabinet members were answered.
