Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Leadership Board - Friday, 16th January, 2026 1.30 pm
The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Leadership Board met on Friday 16 January 2026 to discuss a range of strategic issues, including the Local Area Energy Plan, the creation of Cornwall's Good Food Cycle, and the refresh of the Safer Cornwall Plan. The Board was also scheduled to consider changes to its own terms of reference and receive an update on the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Executive Group's strategic activities.
Cornwall Growth Board - Thursday, 11th December, 2025 2.00 pm
The Cornwall Growth Board approved recommendations to adopt the Defence Sector Addendum to the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Good Growth Plan 2024-35, and to set up a working group to explore the development of a Cornwall International Strategy, as well as endorsing Global Cornish as the Cornwall Diaspora Strategy. The board also agreed to develop an options paper to explore setting up Global Cornish as an entity external to Cornwall Council.
Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Leadership Board - Friday, 21st November, 2025 2.00 pm
The Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Leadership Board are scheduled to meet on 21 November 2025. The agenda includes discussion of the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Executive Group strategic update, the Pretty Poverty Report and updated Index of Multiple Deprivation, the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Nature Recovery Strategy, and the Safer Cornwall Plan refresh. There will also be an opportunity for board members to raise urgent matters.
Cornwall Growth Board - Thursday, 9th October, 2025 2.00 pm
The Cornwall Growth Board met to discuss and approve recommendations for the Workforce and Skills Strategy and the progress of the Local Plan, both aimed at fostering economic growth and addressing key challenges in Cornwall. The board approved the Workforce and Skills Strategy, designed to support inclusive economic growth and improve productivity, as well as endorsing the Baseline report for the Local Plan, which will be used as the foundation for further direction. They also agreed to undertake further iterations of the call for sites and to establish a cross-party informal working group to advise on the Local Plan.
