The Kensington and Chelsea Licensing Sub-Committee met to consider a notice to hold a temporary licensable event. This followed an objection from the Metropolitan Police on the grounds of public safety, and the prevention of crime and disorder. The report pack included a recommendation to the committee to consider the objection notice.

The Licensing Sub-Committee of Kensington and Chelsea Council met to consider an objection to a temporary event notice (TEN) for Flat C, 6 St Michael's Gardens, ahead of the Notting Hill Carnival. The sub-committee was scheduled to consider the objection notices, and could issue a counter notice if it thought it necessary to do so to prevent crime or public nuisance.

The Kensington and Chelsea Full Council met on 16 July 2025, addressing a range of issues from local concerns to strategic policy decisions. Councillors approved a motion to investigate the impact of changes to National Insurance contributions, and they also discussed green spaces, mental health services, and the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea's Overview and Scrutiny Committee met to discuss council performance, finances, and future work plans. Councillors reviewed the Corporate Performance and Council Action Plan Delivery Report, the Final Outturn Revenue and Capital Monitoring Report, and the Forward Plan and Key Decision Tracker. They also discussed and agreed to a work programme for the coming year.
