The Environment and Sustainable Transport Committee met on 8 January 2026, adopting a revised policy for dealing with abandoned vehicles and receiving an update on the Sutton Town Centre Public Realm and Placemaking Programme. The Scrutiny Committee was scheduled to discuss flood risk management and receive an update from the Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust (ESTH). The committee was also scheduled to review the minutes from its previous meeting.

Sutton Local Committee - Thursday, 6th November, 2025 7.00 pm

The Sutton Local Committee met to discuss the Sutton Town Centre Public Realm Regeneration plans, receive an update from the Sutton Housing Partnership, and hear a presentation on actions taken towards net zero as part of the Climate Scorecards. The committee was also scheduled to address public questions and approve the minutes from their previous meeting.

Council - Monday, 3rd November, 2025 7.00 pm

The Sutton Council meeting scheduled for 3 November 2025 included discussion of Houses in Multiple Occupation, a motion to support diversity, and the annual report of the Audit and Governance Committee. Councillors were also expected to answer questions.

The Environment and Sustainable Transport Committee met on 9 October 2025, and agreed to note a petition for 100% plant-based catering at council events, approved the one year review of the Cultural Strategy for Sutton 2024-2027, noted the bi-annual performance monitoring report, agreed the updated Climate Emergency Response Plan, approved the implementation of a lane rental scheme in the borough, approved the highways and transport programme for 2026/2027, and approved the appointment of a preferred bidder for the parking enforcement and operations contract.
