Firefighters' Pension Scheme Local Pension Board - Tuesday, 21st October, 2025 11.30 am

The Firefighters' Pension Scheme Local Pension Board met to discuss a monitoring report, a letter from the Scheme Advisory Board (SAB), and the Local Pension Board Risk Register. Also on the agenda was the Pension Dashboard Programme, the Pensions Regulator's General Code of Practice, and pension scheme eligibility. The meeting was scheduled to be held at the Northumberland Fire & Rescue Service Headquarters in Cramlington.

Health and Well-being Board - Thursday, 9th October, 2025 10.00 am

The Northumberland Council Health and Well-being Board met to discuss changes to its membership and terms of reference, and to review the Northumberland Alcohol Strategy (2025 – 2030). The board was also scheduled to review its forward plan.

Health and Well-being Board - Thursday, 11th September, 2025 10.00 am

The Northumberland County Council Health and Well-being Board met to discuss and approve the Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment 2025-28, which maps pharmaceutical services against local health needs. The board approved publication of the assessment and delegated authority for PNA-related actions to the Executive Director of Public Health, Stronger Communities and Inequalities, in consultation with the Chair of the Health and Well-being Board. The board also reviewed its forward plan for the 2025/26 council year.

Northumberland County Council met on 10 September 2025, and agreed to increase the budget for the Northumberland Line project by £37.9 million, commence a county-wide Community Governance Review, and also discussed corporate performance and annual reports from cabinet members.
