The Buckinghamshire Council met to discuss several key issues, including the appointment of a returning officer, cabinet member reports, and motions related to local plans and funding. Councillors approved the appointment of Lisa Marie Williams as the returning officer and electoral registration officer, and also approved a motion to engage with water and sewage providers on capacity investment in the local plan. High Wycombe Town Committee - Tuesday, 24th June, 2025 7.00 pm

The High Wycombe Town Committee met to discuss a vision for the town, review special expenses, and receive updates on market infrastructure and town centre development. Councillor Ed Gemmell was formally appointed as Chairman, and Councillor Lesley Clarke OBE was appointed as Vice Chair. The committee discussed a number of issues including community engagement, town improvements, and budget allocations, with a focus on collaborative efforts to enhance High Wycombe.

The Garibaldi, 11-17 High Street, Burnham, Slough, SL1 7JB (Application), Licensing (Premises) Sub-Committee - Thursday, 19th June, 2025 10.30 am

Buckinghamshire Council's licensing subcommittee convened to consider an application for a new premises licence for The Garibaldi pub, located at 11-17 High Street, Burnham, Slough, SL1 7JB. The application was submitted by Star Pubs and Bars Limited, following the death of the previous licence holder and the subsequent lapse of the existing licence. After hearing arguments from all parties, the committee agreed to grant the licence with amended conditions.

Licensing (Public Protection) Committee - Tuesday, 17th June, 2025 6.30 pm

The Buckinghamshire Council Licensing (Public Protection) Committee met on 17 June 2025, and agreed to launch a public consultation on a new mobile home site licensing fee policy. Councillor Chris Chilton was appointed as Vice Chairman of the Committee.
