The Eastern Area Planning Committee met to discuss planning appeals and a reserved matters application for land north of Marshall Road, Devizes. The committee approved the minutes from the previous meeting and then approved the reserved matters application, which concerned the appearance, landscaping, layout, and scale of a housing development.

Devizes Area Board - Monday 1 December 2025 6.30 pm

The Devizes Area Board met to discuss winter preparedness, community governance, and grant applications. The board approved funding for several community projects, including support for vulnerable adults, a Christmas carol service, and youth programs. Councillors also received updates on highway maintenance, police activities, and various community initiatives.

Children's Select Committee - Thursday 13 November 2025 2.00 pm

The Eastern Area Planning Committee met on 6 November 2025, and agreed to forward the Wiltshire Council Parish of Wilcot and Huish with Oare Path No.32A Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2025 to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (SoSEFRA) with a recommendation that it is confirmed with modification. The modification relates to the width of the footpath.

Extraordinary meeting - On the rising of the ordinary meeting of Full Council taking place on 21 October 2025, not before 14:00, Council - Tuesday 21 October 2025 2.00 pm

The Wiltshire Council was scheduled to meet to discuss a statutory recommendation from external auditors, Grant Thornton, regarding delays in the preparation of the council's financial accounts. The council was expected to consider the recommendation and approve a response.
