This meeting was scheduled to include the confirmation of the minutes from the previous meeting, a report on breaches of the Local Government Act 1972, a discussion of actions arising from the previous meeting, and consideration of a training log for board members. The meeting was also scheduled to include a general update and a discussion of the board's work programme.

The Pension Board noted updates on a number of topics including training, administration of the Pension Fund and the Pension Regulator’s General Code of Practice, before moving into closed session to consider the General Update - Part Two.

Pensions Investment Committee - Wednesday, 20th November, 2024 7.00 pm

The Committee reviewed and approved the draft Lewisham Pension Fund Annual Report 2023/24 for publication. It also agreed changes to the Fund's Responsible Investment Beliefs Statement, noting the findings of a recent workshop. Several items were discussed in closed session.

The Pension Board noted the Council's progress in complying with The Pension Regulator's General Code of Practice, reviewed the training records of the Board Members and the Council's proposed Business Plan. They also noted the performance of the investments managed on behalf of the Fund, and discussed the potential impact of new pooling legislation on the Fund's current investment strategy.

Pensions Investment Committee - Thursday, 19th September, 2024 7.00 pm

The Committee discussed a number of issues in a closed session, including a quarterly investment monitoring report, a general report, and reports on pooling considerations, climate risk and net zero, and engagement policy. The committee also noted the minutes of the previous meeting on the 16th of November 2023.
