The committee also reviewed public health substance use services and partnership working, and agreed its work programme for the coming year.

The Adult Care and Public Health Scrutiny Committee met on Wednesday, 7 January 2026, to discuss the re-procurement of externally commissioned building-based day care services, the future of the Technology Enabled Care (TEC) service, and an extension to short breaks and emergency provision contracts. The committee resolved to support the recommendations made in relation to these items and to forward their comments to the Executive Councillor for Adult Care and Health.

The Lincolnshire County Council's Executive met to discuss the Section 17 Crime and Disorder Strategy and the Review of Financial Performance for the second quarter of 2025/26, and voted to approve the recommendations for both. The Crime and Disorder Strategy was recommended to the County Council for formal approval, and the Executive noted the forecast outturn position for revenue and capital, along with the mitigations being progressed.

The Community Safety Scrutiny Committee of Lincolnshire Council scheduled a meeting to discuss the Lincolnshire County Council's Section 17 Crime and Disorder Strategy, an update of the Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Control Programme, and trading standards regarding animal health, welfare and feed activity. The committee also planned to review service level performance and its work programme.
