Licensing Sub-Committee - Thursday 12 December 2024 1.00 pm
The Licensing Sub-Committee met to consider two applications. The first was for a new premises license for an off-license at 47 Waterloo Station, submitted by Gardshol Enterprises Limited. The committee determined that the application should be granted with additional conditions, including that all alcohol be kept in secure storage and only sold alongside food between 7am and 11am. The second application was a review of an existing premises license for Mosquito Bar at 5 Clapham High Street. After extensive discussion, the committee deferred its decision for five working days.

The Licensing Sub-Committee met to consider two applications for new premises licenses: one for La Surena, a restaurant at 30-30A Brixton Station Road, and another for a late bar at the Basement Hyatt Regency, 10 Albert Embankment. Both applications were granted after the applicants agreed to amend their proposed hours.
Review Hearing, Licensing Sub-Committee - Friday 25 October 2024 7.00 pm, NEW
The Licensing Sub-Committee of Lambeth Council met to consider a Summary Review application made by the Metropolitan Police, requesting the revocation of the premises licence for Dirty Blonde, 642 Wandsworth Road, London, SW8 3JW. The Sub-Committee decided to revoke the licence, after hearing representations from the police and the Licensing Authority. A second determination was also made, to suspend the premises licence pending appeal.

The Licensing Sub-Committee decided to defer its decision on the application for five days, and to notify all interested parties in writing of its determination and the reasons for it.
Licensing Sub-Committee - Monday 14 October 2024 7.05 pm
The Licensing Sub-Committee granted a variation of the premises licence for Supercute, Ground Floor Unit 1, Shakespeare Business Centre, Coldharbour Lane, London SW9 8RR. The application allows the venue to host plays, films, live and recorded music, dance performances, and to sell late night refreshment. It also extends the hours during which licensable activities can be provided to midnight on Friday and Saturday. A variation to the licence for The Brickstone, 256-258 Brixton Road, London SW9 6AQ was withdrawn.
