The Resources and Fire & Rescue Overview and Scrutiny Committee met to discuss a new flag policy and a compulsory purchase order (CPO) for the Wheat Street/Leicester Road area in Nuneaton. Councillors voted against a proposal to send the flag policy back to the cabinet for further discussion, and also voted against a proposal to publish the reasons behind decisions on whether or not to allow a flag to be flown. The committee agreed to hold a future meeting to examine the Wheat Street/Leicester Road CPO in greater detail.

Warwickshire County Council's Cabinet met to discuss the first quarter integrated performance report, the financial monitoring position, and a value for money programme. They approved a plan to explore the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in council services, additions to the education capital programme, and a flag policy for council buildings. The cabinet also recommended that the council approve adding a developer-funded highways improvement scheme to the capital programme.

The Warwickshire County Council Regulatory Committee met to discuss the extension of an in-vessel composting facility, as well as the restoration of a landfill site, both located at Ufton Landfill Site. Councillors voted to extend the life of the composting facility until 2038 and approved a variation to conditions relating to the landfill site, extending the deadline for restoration. The committee also approved appointments to external bodies.
