The Children's Overview and Scrutiny Committee endorsed both the new Young Wandsworth Strategy and the new Play in Wandsworth strategy. The Committee also noted the annual Children's Services statutory complaints report and agreed the new Children's Act 1989 Statutory Complaints Policy. After lengthy discussion, the committee recommended that the Executive approve the beginning of the pre-proposal consultation on the closure of Bradstow School in Broadstairs, Kent. The Committee noted both the quarterly key performance indicator report and the budget monitoring for quarter two.

This meeting of the Wandsworth Schools Forum was scheduled to receive an update on the Enhanced Transition Project, an update on pupil projections, and a report on high needs benchmarking. It was also scheduled to discuss the National Funding Formula for the 2025-26 financial year.

The Schools Forum noted all of the reports that were presented to it. The Forum received updates on the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) position, the Nursery Inclusion Project for All (NIPA), investment in therapies for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), and the arrangements for school insurance.
